French Businesses Report Continued Recruitment Difficulties

In its business survey published in late October, Banque de France reported that recruitment difficulties affected 18% of businesses in September, including 16% of industrial firms and 22% of construction companies. The aeronautics sector continued to face shortages of specialised workers, while demand for technical and engineering skills remained strong.
