On 27 October 2026, the French government announced reforms following student protests, including greater transparency in university admissions and plans to create 15,000 additional higher-education places by 2028. The expansion is expected to include 10,000 advanced vocational diploma places and 4,000 technical bachelor’s places; funding for the full programme was not separately disclosed.
The reforms create opportunities for university consulting, vocational training, admissions technology and digital education services. HPC can support education providers with learning platforms, student-data analytics and high-performance computing infrastructure.
